FORT SAN ANDRES
Visit this historical heritage site that offers stunning overlooking view in Romblon. Located 300 meters away from the port and a 5 to 8 minutes walk and hike. You will need to take some exercise in going up, it's a 200 steps up but the experience was really a worth of your time. There's no entrance fee however a donation box is available at the gate.
This is such a cool place overlooking the town and island of Romblon. It was built to guard the Romblon town against Pirates and other intruders. It overlooks the town as well as the harbor which made it perfect location to notice any incoming possible threats.
Fort San Andres is now 374 years old and the foundation of this building is made out of coral bricks that made the building still durable up to this era. It is also equipped with canyons and all sides has a hole where canyons are placed.
